Communicating Design Intent

The best green intentions can be easily undermined by using a traditional approach to the building process and hoping for the best. From initial project programming through design, permitting, bidding, construction, inspection and delivery, any number of factors, people or bureaucracies can diminish or neutralize the sustainability of a home. Poor communications cause delays or changes in a project, which can either drive up costs or reduce profits. This presentation outlines a more diligent and comprehensive approach to the entire building process, which provides the greatest chance of project success.
