John P. Green, AIA, NCARB

In addition to his land planning skills, John, a licensed architect since 1977, has over four decades of experience in architectural design with administrative and direction responsibilities. Since graduating from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1973, John has become recognized as an expert regarding building and zoning code ramifications over a wide variety of local and national codes and ordinances. His affiliations have included: Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove, BG Area Chamber of Commerce, Buffalo Grove Friends of the Parks Foundation, Mount Prospect Zoning Board of Appeals (1982-87), and Buffalo Grove Ethics Commission. He is a registered architect with the American Institute of Architects, is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is registered as an Interior Designer by the State of Illinois.

John also is an artist, capturing scenes from his travels in pen. His artwork is featured as part of the collection at the GREEN Ink Gallery @ Groundwork. A collection of his prints are available here.
